S+ Fundamentals is designed not only for those new to S-PLUS, but
also for those who have some previous experience. Beginners can
take this course to get up and running in S+, while experienced
users can "fill in the gaps" of their knowledge. The course will
expose users to essential S+ functions. This four day course
covers the basics of S+ for Windows with an emphasis on using S+
to analyse data. We will cover the fundamentals of the Graphical
User Interface (GUI) and the syntax of the S+ command line. We
will explore the tools for data analysis, including powerful and
flexible graphics functions as well as several of the most common
statistical procedures. Upon completion of this course, every
participant will have a strong foundation for becoming a
successful S+ user.
