Recently we encountered a strange problem.
The situation is briefly described below.
We use a Binary Markov Random Field for a
real data analysis. Gibbs sampling was used
to estimate the parameters in the proposed model.
We let S+ 2000 with PIII 866 and 512 MRAM run
for us, but nothing going even a iteration.
We still try to figure out the problem.
Now I'd like to ask all of you out there
for a recommendation of a PC system
that run S+ smoothly and in reasonable speed.
Another two questions, did someone use PIV
run for S+?
IS it possible to have a S+ program
down a PC system to a significant low level?
Sorry for the sad story and not so clear.
