| Subject: | incidence rates and rate ratios in S-Plus |

Dear All, Say I have a dataset with 100 cases and for each case I have the information whether a disease has occurred (dis = 1 or 0), and information about age, sex, and follow-up time (fu). I would like to estimate the incidence rate and incidence rate ratio (male versus female), adjusted for age. Any help re how to do that in S-Plus will be greatly appreciated. Would a Poisson regression model be appropriate? Many TIA, Pedram |
