SQPE.DLL Bug

Hello, I am running S-Plus 2000 on Windows ME

I have a function with 2 for loops.  My function however is crashing 
somewhere around the 6th time in the other loop
The error is "Splus has caused an error in SQPE.Dll......Splus will now close"

I get kicked out of S-Plus and another error occurs "Splus has caused an 
error in SVMC42.Dll"
I cannot find the error in my functions.

Could anyone tell me what these two sayings mean.  Are these memory problems?
