Dear users -

splus2000r3/R1.5 winNT4

I am wondering, rather naively, how to specify a newdata frame for prediction with a frailty term in the model. Lets say there is one covariate, range 0-2500, one factor with 4 levels and a frailty term with 25 levels. Can someone advise as to the appropriate way to include the frailty factor?

predict(model,newdata=list(.....),type="quantile",p=0.5)

cheers
andrew
