Use data.dump( ) and data.restore( ). You can also use File ... Import to
import data.dump (.sdd) files. I'm not sure about exporting them. Don't just
copy S-Plus binary files. Example:
data.dump(c('a','b'),'/windows/temp/my.sdd') # puts objects a and b in my.sdd
