dear s-plus-users, in a scatterplot, i want to smooth data via least squares but don't want to smooth all observations but perform the smoothing separately on say two groups, thus ending up with two lines. couldn't find any solution to this problem so far. any suggestions would be highly appreciated, thanks. bernd |
