6 Sigma methodology has a special meaning for Motorola. When we got the Malcom Baldrich award it defined the unique aspects of the Motorola 'Six Sigma' approach. Although I definitely recommend the Q toolbox as a comprehensive collection of quality control charts and functions, you need to get the documentation that describes the calculations for the control limits, how the limits are refined through iterative processes, and how you define the response activities during ooc events. Among other things, it's the control chart limit definitions and responses that make 'Six Sigma' different from six sigma.
