Hi,
I am using S-Plus 2000 and I am unsuccessfully trying to install the MASS 4
library update (http://www.stats.ox.ac.uk/pub/MASS4/Software.html) in order
to use the glmmPQL function developed by Venables and Ripley.
Unfortunately, when I try to install the library update following the
instructions, the installation seems to proceed regularly but then I cannot
find the glmmPQL function. Why is that? does this udate not work with
S-Plus 2000? any other way I can get the glmmPQL () function?
