There is no MASS4 library update for S-PLUS 2000, on that page nor anywhere
else. It does clearly state it is for S+6.x, and points you to the MASS3
updater for S-PLUS 2000.

Yes,
1) Install S+6.x, or
2) Use the correct updater for S-PLUS 2000.
[MASS4 does not support S-PLUS 2000, which is fairly long obselete and
which we no longer have installed. Nor do the compilers used to build the
software run under Windows XP, the only version of Windows we now run.]
