I receive the following error in S-Plus 4.0 on Windows whenever I try to do
anything with map():
>map("state",c("california","nevada","washington"))
Error in .C("mapgetg",: subroutine mapgetg: 1 missing value(s) in argument 2
Dumped
This is all, of course, after issuing library(maps) and getting the expected
"unsupported" message.
Is this a known issue I just can't find acknowledged because my version of
S-Plus is so old?
I would appreciate anyone's advice on dealing with this problem.
