| Thread-topic: | Outlier detection library/package |
|
Dear S
users,
I am posting this
message to R-help also.
Is there a free
library (or package) containing functions for S or R that detects outliers
for Gausian and non-normal data?
I also learnt a
method where we transform the data log naturaly before using Gausian
outlier identification.
Besides standard
Boxplot methods, I would like to compare with GESD Many-Outlier Procedure,
Shapiro-Wilk W, Dixon etc. etc.
I am surprised that
with a topic as important as "Outlier analysis", I have not found any
packages/library sources pertaining it (or did I not search good
enough?).
I am using Windows
based R 1.6.1 and S-PLUS 6.1
Many
thanks,
