| Subject: | font size for tick labels |

Dear Users
I'm struggling to enlarge the size of the labels on the axis ticks which
convey the scale (using Trellis graphics).
Cex only seems to affect the plotting points.
Specifiying a cex value in the arguments of xlab (eg xlab=list("text",
cex=value)) allows you to alter the font size of the axis labels.
But how can I alter the size of the tick labels ?
I'm using S ver 6 under W2K. Many thanks for any insights.
