Weird Trellis Graphics Problem

Version: S-Plus 6.1 (Student Edition, Windows XP),

 

Symptom:

The following error message is shown when launching a Trellis Graphs command (e.g. xyplot) from S-plus command line prompt:

Problem in do.margin(scale.x, relation.x.same, alt.x, dra..: Couldn't
find a function definition for "func"

No problem with Trellis graphs using the graphical user interface of S-plus.

Any ideas? Thanks.
