Dear List,
I am having trouble extracting coefficient standard errors with GAM and
GLM (Splus 6.0 on Window). For these lm inheritor classes, generic
functions are recommended rather than the $ operator.
However, I have been unable to identify the appropriate generic
function to extract coefficient standard errors. (To extract the
coefficients alone, there is coef, but this does not give the std err.)
I would really value hearing from others with experience extracting
coefficient standard errors using generic functions rather than the $
operator.
