Hello s-newsers,

I am seeking help on using the jackknife function to estimate regression parameters using reduced major axis regression (RMA). I am unsure how to translate the formulas for the slope and intercept terms into command line terms. With RMA, the slope term is calculated as the (standard deviation of Y)/(standard deviation of X); while the intercept term is calculated as ((mean of y)-slope*(mean of x)). I also want to estimate RMSE and R^2 using the jackknife function. I am a novice at command line Splus, and thus the reason for my e-mail. If anyone has any insight into this, I would greatly appreciate the advice. Thanks,

Scott
