Many thanks to Patrick Burns and Spencer Graves for providing a solution to my question. Both gave the same solution: deparse(substitute(x)) Thanks so much!! Todd Hatfield my original question: I'd like to be able to use an object's name as the title in plotting functions. Is there a way to capture the name of an object as a character string? |
