By default, the function rlevel.gev produces a plot of the asymptotic 95%
confidence level. To supress the plot and just compute the return level,
call rlevel.gev with the optional argument type="RetLevel". This creates an
object with elements LowerCB, rlevel and UpperCB (e.g estimate with lower
and upper ends of confidence interval)

Dear S-users,

Does someone know how to suppress the plot from the 'rlevel.gev'
function?
It is a function in the FinMetrics module that calculates the return
level from a fit to a generalized extreme value distribution. As a
side-effect of executing this function a plot appears automatically.
Since I am doing several hundreds of return level calculations, it slows
my process considerably.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Gordon
