I have some novice question which is not exactly
related to Splus as such, but perhaps the statistical
part of BIC. I was wondering about the characteristics
of the BIC as function in general for glms. Can I
picturize the BIC as the concave/convex surface with
some whose optmality can be proved by the equivalence
theory. Not sure If I am going right!!
Can I consider it to be surface ?
Well may be I am looking at some the mathematical
references for BIC which can through some light on the
properties of BIC.
I'll greatly appreciate for any references or
pointers.
