Under SPlus 6.1 for Windows 2K, when I run cv.lars(x,y) an object is
returned to my search path. Subsequent runs of cv.lars produce annoying
warning msgs.
This occurs if I run cv.lars or cv.object<- cv.lars(x,y). Is there a way
to avoid creating object in search path?
The SPlus lars functions were down loaded from Stanford LARS site and
sourced. I can run lars in R, but I would like to use SPlus.
Thank you
