This usually works. 1.) Stop S-Plus. 2.) Go to your S-Plus home directory. There is a .Data and a .Prefs directory. Delete the .Prefs directory. Do not delete .Data! 3.) Re-start S-Plus. It will ask you if it can create a new .Prefs. Say "Yes." And all will be well!
