In S-PLUS 6.1 for Windows XP a fatal error occured in the 'Migrate
files' wizard used for converting a project folder containing files done
with a previous version of S-PLUS. The error messages are:
Failed to create an S-PLUS chapter in 'D:/My_file' using 'create
Chapter'
Application error. The instruction at "..." referenced memory at "...".
The memory could not be written.
I have access to the project folder to be migrated. The folder is not in
a 'read only' state. Does anyone have a clue what causes this
malfunction? Has the problem to do with the XP operating system?
Would appreciate any suggestions.
