Dr. Graves mentioned Pinheiro & Bates (2000) as a reference for a mixed
model problem I posted earlier. The problem was that certain null
hypotheses for testing random effects may be on the boundary of the
parameter space. In Pinheiro & Bates, 2000, p. 85 and following, the
authors describe a function called "simulate.lme". The authors make use of
this function to evaluate models formed to test hypotheses that posit values
near the boundary. Is there an analogue to simulate.lme for glme?

Respectfully,

Frank R. Lawrence
