Think what's possible. Are you looking to work in a global growth company where you can make a real difference? With about 77,200 associates around the globe in our affiliates in over 140 countries, we share a vision of a better today and tomorrow for patients - a vision that drives our growth and success. Our greatest job satisfaction is knowing that we improve lives, we extend lives, and we save lives - and we do it with increasing precision and efficiency through breakthrough science and innovation. Currently, we have openings for clinical modelers in East Hanover, NJ and Basel, Switzerland. As a member of our modeling group, together with world-renowned statisticians, clinical pharmacologists, and medical scientists, you will apply statistical and mathematical modeling in support of clinical drug development. Previous pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus but is not necessary. Indeed, yesterday's experience may lead us astray on the path to tomorrow. We are looking for creative individuals who want to grow with us as we invent and apply novel designs for clinical trials, new modeling techniques for interpreting clinical data, and enhanced tools for decision making in development programs. We are looking for down-to-earth dreamers who will help clinical teams ask the right questions as well as discover good answers. If a challenge appeals to you, then you appeal to us. You should have Ph.D. in statistics, mathematics, or a related field with substantial evidence of creativity and productivity. You should have experience applying modeling to some field of human endeavor. You should have expertise in some statistical and modeling software such as SAS, S-PLUS, BUGS, MATLAB, or NONMEM. You should demonstrate excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work in interdisciplinary teams. Candidates may be considered for positions commensurate with knowledge and experience. For East Hanover, please apply to http://www.pharma.us.novartis.com/careers/jobSearch.jsp and reference requisition # 23120. For Basel, please contact Hans-Peter Wortha (phone: +41 61 3248258, email: hans-peter.wortha@pharma.novartis.com) and reference requisition #22765. Novartis is committed to embracing and leveraging diverse backgrounds, cultures and talents to achieve competitive advantage. Novartis is an equal opportunity employer M/F/D/V. |
