You may consult S-Plus 2000, Programmer's Guide p. 308 or simply try
?par(mfrow)

Hope this helps,

Subject: [S] multiple graphs on a page

This was posted a few years back, but in the archive there were no answers,
and i'm haveing the same problem, using S-Plus 2000 rel. 2. any help would
be gratefully received

from [Timothy J. Wade]

Hello S users,
I have the following frustrating problem. I'm using Splus 4.5 for windows.
I want to put multiple graphs on a page using the Windows functions and cut
and paste. I proceed EXACTLY as directed in the User's manual. I open a new
graph sheet, copy and paste the graphs I want to put on it but the graphs
are overlaid rather than fitted.

Does anyone else have this problem?

Thanks in advance,

Tim
