Thread-topic: Multiple series on a trellis panel
S users,

I have a dataset of groundwater chemical concentrations from 1990-2004 from
four different agricultural fields with 5-8 well nests per field and 5-8
groundwater sampling wells per nest. I would like to build a trellis graphic
with each panel being a well nest, and each well plotted by a seperate line
(dot to dot, least squares, loess, what have you...) so that 5-8 well plots are
overlapped in each panel. I will make one trellis graphic for each field.

Graphsheet: Field {1-4}
Panels: Wellnest {A-?}
Plots: Wells {1-8}, Concentration~Time

I understand how the subscript argument can be used to overlap plots with
totally different dependant and independant variables, but I have not yet
unraveled how to use it for my purpose.

Is my best option simply to overlap as many plots as there are wells (5-8
overlapped plots), or could you recommend a way to use the subscript argument?
Other options?

Regards, and thank you for your attention,
