linear rank test

Hi, there,

 

Does anybody know the function for linear rank test following a non-parametric survival analysis in S (or R)? Although Cox model will produce an identical chi-square for that covariate being tested, a function incorporated with nonparametric method to test for survival across strata would be still interesting.
