Does anyone know how to produce a cycle plot, as descrtibed in Cleveland's
book "Visualizing Data"? (p 164, ch on Bivariate Data).
I am trying to represent intrayear seasonality with short horizontal
segments and overlay to that historical evolution of the monthly subseries.
On a similar note, does anyone know how to make the monthplot work with an
stl object? I have tried to use monthplot for a similar type of plot but
it appears to have a bug. The example in the Language reference works with
a sabl fit but not quite with an stl fit (althoug it says it should). The
sabl fit will produce all the vertical whiskers you see if you execute the
example in the help. not so for stl.
Any information would be appreciated,
