COURSE: Statistical Modelling with S-PLUS

Insightful are now taking bookings for the course: Statistical Modelling with S-PLUS by Dr Bill Venables, 9 - 11 February 2005 to be held at the Basingstoke Hilton, Basingstoke in the UK.

 

This is an unique opportunity to extend your S-PLUS knowledge with one of the foremost lecturers on the subject.  Dr Venables, an Australian resident, travels to the northern hemisphere about once a year to give lectures.

 

This three-day course will present classical and modern approaches to statistical modelling using the facilities provided by S-PLUS. The course will present

S-PLUS as a complete data analysis and graphics environment and will use both the standard software and the S programming language to offer strategies for handling both standard and non-standard statistical modelling problems.
