I need to test whether an object (eg a data
frame)exists before I use it.
Is there an exists(object) or an if.exists statement
availably in S+?
Is anyone aware of alternative methods of testing for
existence of a data frame or object without falling
foul of a terminating error.
Rgds
Erik
