I routinely run two or more Sqpe jobs simultaneously. I normally do it running ESS from inside emacs, but that is not a requirement. See http://ess.r-project.org for information and to download ESS. It is just as easy from a pair of MSDOS windows. I have c:\progra~1\Insightful\SPLUS62\ in my path. I cd to the appropriate directories, and then execute c:\progra~1\Insightful\SPLUS62\cmd\Sqpe.exe Be sure that each instance is in a different directory. If two S processes try to work on the same directory, they will step on each others toes. Rich |
