Dear list members,

I created 110 slm() models (family CAR) and wanted to test them on reserved
data. However, it seems that no method is implemented in slm() for predicting
onto new data. I can understand that such a method would not be trivial because
the new data would not be in the neighborhood matrix of the original model but
there should still be a solution with building a new matrix. I would appreciate
any kind of feedback on the problem be it negative (about this being impossible
or known not to be implemented) or positive. The same question was asked about
2 years ago on this list and the person apparently did not get a solution.

Thank you.

Volker Bahn
