Antonella,
The newest version of S (Splus 7) has something new called "pipeline
architecture" which is supposed to virtually eliminate memory
problems. Haven't used it yet (haven't got my upgrade CD yet, where
is it Insightful?).
Someone should ask Insightful is editing the header file to make S+
/LARGEADDRESSAWARE works. "Pipeline architecture" aside, memory is
more important than 64bit vs. 32bit. 32bit can handle up to 4GB.
Thanks,
Roger
