Stripping time column from time series

Hi all,

I generated a time series with functions timeSeries and seriesMerge. Now I am trying to get the time column from the (multi-variate) time series (say, MTS). If I use MTS[,1], I get the first time series, with both time points and value of series. But I only want the time points, not the series values.
