Hello all!
Using 7.0 on XP w/ 3Ghz and 1 GB ram,

I can successfully import (using the resident Oracle ODBC driver and
"Import Database") whole tables using the GUI. I run into a few problems
when I :

1) try to import larger databases (300K rows x 60 cols) - For this I
get a "dynamic memory" error. Is this a limitation of my machine, or
something I need to reset in SPlus?

2) try to use the column selector of the Columns tab of the Import
Database dialogue box. In this case, if I try selecting certain columns,
I get: Problem in parse(text = sCommand): Syntax error: illegal name
("guiOpenView") on input line 2
Use traceback() to see the call stack

Is the column select feature conflicting with the "select * ..." which
is still in the SQL window?

Also, I don't find where guiOpenView is even used. Modifying the gui
command (from History) and running in the command window gets the same
result.

Any ideas are welcome!

thanks
