Do you have any idea what it takes to REinstall the S+7 onto the same
machine (e.g., in case of crash)?

I've a single user licence for v7---and just stupidly
discovered that I am able to install it on only one
pc. And, to uninstall it from one machine requires
emailing Insightful prior to installing it on another
pc. Guess the days of being able to install software
on a home and office machine are over. But the cost
and inconvenience of the latest S+ products are
certainly a strong incentive for me to make a complete
move to R.
