If you want to generate large numbers of graphs in S+ you are far
better off using the devices wmf.graph and pdf.graph.
These are far more stable and don't have all the memory issues with windows
gui devices.
I'm not sure if you can use the gui* commands with these devices - I
suspect not.
You will not to write code for conventional S+ graphics routines (which are
far more portable anyway)

>>> Hi,
I am using S+6.2 on NT4.
I am generating a
large number of graphs in S+ and I want to save these to files and close the
graphsheet windows through code. I want to avoid the dialog box which prompts
me to save changes, e.g. "Save Changes to GSD2 in a file?" when I close the
graphshhet with guiClose. I have discovered that if I save the graphics using
guiSave this dialog box doesn't appear. However I would prefer to use
export.graph which gives me more flexibility. I have tried, without success,
to circumvent this problem by altering the suppress.graphics.warnings in
options. Can anyone help?
Regards, Glenn
Treacy
