The problem is that the number of observation times ('obs.times') must have the same length as your data values for the series ('white.noise'). If you wanted 60 observations each at 4 observation times, set ncol=60 when you initialize 'whitenoise'. If you wanted 4 observations each at 60 observation times, you need 60 dates in your 'obs.times' variable.
