Thread-topic: [S] Debugging environment
S-PLUS 7 Enterprise includes a new development environment called the S-PLUS Workbench, which includes a syntax-aware code editor for the S language and the ability to automatically detect syntax errors when you save a file. You can read more information about S-PLUS 7 Enterprise at: http://www.insightful.com/products/splus/s7_features.asp, and if you already have S-PLUS 6.2 or S-PLUS 7.0 Professional under maintenance, you're eligible to purchase an upgrade to the Enterprise edition.

We've already received lots of user feedback about the S-PLUS Workbench, and many people have expressed interest in adding step-debugging capabilities to it.  We're looking into that for a future version.

Cheers,
# David Smith

Hello,
I am using S-plus on an XP machine, v 6.2. I am looking (a bit late) for a debugging environment. Does that exist in S-plus?

Thanks in advance

Stephane
