Hi Chris!
I generally do one of two things:
1. Generate a PowerPoint file with the plots I want (if I am working
under Windows). Often it is enough to send a Word file and a PowerPoint
with the plots. Since most MD's want to use the plots in a PowerPoint
presentation anyway, they are happy to have two files.
2. Save the file using wmf.graph if I am working under Linux. These
import pretty well into Word, since they are a windows image format. It is
not always the same as what you see, so it does take a little playing
around.
Pete

Subject: [S] Trouble with the quality of splus graphs in word
Greetings,
I've done a fair amount of experimenting and now feel that I'm simply
missing something.
Does anyone have the right format for clear, crisp graphs that retain
these characteristics in MSWord. I generally avoid MS - using LaTeX
instead, but have to use Word for the current project. All of the
combinations I try leave something to be desired - fonts thin, shapes odd,
and other maladies.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Chris.
