I would like to thank everyone that answered my question about data manipulation and especially, Thomas Jagger, Thierry Onkelinx, and Gérald Jean. After working with SAS for 4 years, I had a certain comfortable level working with the data step. I have not yet reached yearling status with Splus, so I really appreciate some of the Splus gurus for helping me on these rudimentary problems. Again, thank you.
