Graphs on a Map

Hi S-Plusers,

Does anyone know of a way to overlay graphs (timelines, bar charts,
etc.) at specific locations on a map?  I know the latitude and longitude
of the location where I want the graph to be. I prefer to use map() to
draw maps, but could use usa() if that's easier for some reason.  

I have both S-PLUS 6.1 and 7 and use Windows XP Professional.
