Thread-topic: attach fails with recent SuSE

Dear all,

We’ve been running Splus 6.1.2 Release 2 for Linux 2.2.12 : 2002 for several years successfully including *** attaching compiled functions *** (e.g. SuSE 9.0). With most recent SuSE distributions (e.g. SuSE 9.3) attaching partially fails: only a subset of functions is really attached. This problem occurs on IA32 as well as on IA64. Is that a common or well-known problem? Is there a quick work-around or even a patch?

Many thanks in advance

Nick
