I had this problem in S-Plus 6.1. I had thought this had been fixed. I believe you should be able to delete your .prefs folder and let S-Plus recreate this folder and you should be fine.
I am using S-Plus 7.0 on Windows 2000. Suddenly my graphics screen background color is red. Paper copies on a black-white printer have black background and are therefore unreadable. I want the background to be white. I've tried everything I can think of, including under "Options": Graph Options, Graph Style, Color Schemes. It doesn't help to get out of, then back into, S-Plus.
