Hello!

I have a problem with the function gam (generalized additive model).

In my program I used a gam to calculate. I have tested my program with a special
kind of data and it works correct.
In the next step I changed the data (the list containing the data has the same
structure than before).

The problem ist now the following:
When the program should calculate the gam I get the following error message:

--snip--
Error in gam.match(data): A smoothing variable encountered with 3 or less unique
values; at least 4 needed
--snip--

I searched in google but I can't find anything.
Maybe some of you can help me.

Best regards
Alexander
