I’m using splus, Enterprise Developer Version 7.0.6, under windows xp.
I have a dataset with about 25 cases (rows), and for each there are five
continuous variables (x1–x5) and four presence-absence variables
(y1–y4), represented by 1s and 0s.
Is there a way to use trellis graphics to produce an array of 20 plots,
with the five x’s along the horizontal and the four y’s on the vertical,
and with two density curves (for the x variable) in each plot? The
density of the x for the y present cases would be represented by a solid
line, and that for the y absent cases by a dashed line.
I’d appreciate detailed advice, if possible.
Thank you.
