| Thread-topic: | [S] setting up LARS in S-Plus 7.0 |
|
Hi, folks: I need a bit of help setting up Hastie's LARS program in my Windows version of S-Plus 7.0.6. I have downloaded the two files from Hastie's site -- the functions and the help files. Since I run a Linux box at home I have been able to create the five help files. But I don't know how to insert them into the Windows S-Plus help system. The functions themselves look as though I should just put them into a script file. I may have to remove the quotation marks around the function names, as I have not generally seen them in S-Plus functions. I'd be grateful for the assistance of anyone that has actually used this suite of funcions. -- Lawrence G. Hunsicker lhunsicker@mchsi.com |
