Thread-topic: Splus 6.0 calculating time differences in timeDate()

Dear All,

Does Splus 6.0 and later account for daylight saving automatically?

*The following is in month day year format”

In calculating the following I get 25 days and 1 hour:

timeDate("4/04/2006 0:00:00 AM",in.format="%m/%d/%Y %H:%M:%S %p")-timeDate("3/10/2006 0:00:00 AM",in.format="%m/%d/%Y %H:%M:%S %p")

Is it possible not to have this adjustment? Or is Splus doing something I am not aware of?

Thank you for your attention.

Steve.
