Dear S plus users

I have been trying to use the set of functions within the mclust library, as described in Venables & Ripley (4th ED p 321).

I have copied the mclust library into the S plus library folder and loaded mclust using a .First function.

The library help facilities work fine but I either experience problems with my dataframe (15 columns of numerical data, no NA's) or I get the message
no function for hc or EMclust.

What exactly am I doing wrong here and can anyone describe a set of simple steps to utilize the core facilities of the mclust library, cluster the dataframe accoring to the nine models
and plot the bic graph that provides a means to identify the most appropriate model and the "correct" number of clusters.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards

Graham
