The Twelfth ACM SIGKDD International Conference on Knowledge Discovery and Data
Mining will take place in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA from August 20
through 23, 2006
ACM/SIGKDD members ought to act NOW to save $225 on their registration expenses
and sign up no later than July 14. Others who register later will be faced
with an increase of $100 or more in registration fees.

- This year's competition is chaired by Dr Terran Lane, Univ of New Mexico. The
challenge is to analyze 3-D computed tomography data collected from medical
clinics to identify pulmonary embolisms. All entries are to be submitted July
10-July 17, 2006.
